Hi guys, below is the video to use to rehearse. Remember a little bit every couple of days will make the world of difference in not only how well you know the dance but also how confidently you perform it.
Each time you practice, do a quick comment on the blog stating how you went about it. For example "Today I worked on the last section over and over until I think i had it. Next time will be the transitions."
this will just help you to know the process you have used and what works and doesn't.
Have a great break and practice practice practice.
For our work with Urban Dancer in residence, you will need to reflect weekly on how you are finding the classes and what is working or not working for you.
First reflection:What were your thoughts before doing the workshop, were you looking forward to it or nervous, was it a style that you felt you could do well in?
What was the hardest part of the class and why?
What aspect of the class did you feel you had the most success in?
How are you feeling about the choreography part of the task?
What are you concerned about going into next week?

Today we watched some clips about Happy as Larry. The choreographer Shaun Parker talked about the foundation for the work and looked at the 9 personality types in the enneagram. For your weebly post, you need to complete the quiz and in your comment state what personality type you are and how you believe this will be translated in the piece.
http://www.enneagramquiz.com/quiz.html. I look forward to reading the responses.
Your next composition is based on the beauty that is external and separate from people.
In this post you need to share ideas with other members of your group.
1. What piece of music would most suit your work
2. What simple costume items could you add to help communicate your meaning.
Don't forget that Body Analysis is due tomorrow.
